For all of those who are concerned with the victims of Hurricane Sandy. WE are crowdfunding a relief effort through Rally. The victims of this tragic storm need your help. Here is how you can help;

1. Donate, every dollar counts. Seriously.

2. Share. This is the kind of thing that warrants attention.

3. Write. The victims need to be lifted up and encouraged.

4. Make history. We have never, ever, had a tool like this at our disposal. Let’s use the tool of crowdfunding to make a terrible situation better.

Here is the page to donate:

Do atleast one of the four options above. How many of you will do all four?

Are You Making Yourself Visible?

February 24, 2012 Leave a comment

I promised to talk about visibility. I am also thinking that this is going to start shifting more towards a video blog (VLOG) because I am much more comfortable doing videos. Any thoughts? Do you like my writing better than my videos? Are my videos awful? I appreciate all the feedback. Either way, here is the link to the newest post about visibility.

February 13, 2012 Leave a comment

Sorry about the delay in posting! My wife and I decided to take a break this weekend and relax with each other. It was wonderful, thanks for asking! I was able to relax, re-do the theme to my blog and brainstorm what my posts are going to look like this week. This post is a preview for what is to come the rest of this week.

Have you ever heard of the VCP process? It is an incredible technique I learned from my tenure with BNI that will bring you more referrals than you can handle. Would you like that? Read more…

From The Bottom Of My Heart

February 9, 2012 2 comments

This is going to be a short one. I know I have only been posting for about two weeks and it has been a fun two weeks. I wanted to use this valuable post space to say THANK YOU to everyone who has read, watched, commented, liked, shared or hated any of my posts. I didn’t think that anyone would read these and it means so much to me that this has garnered as much attention as it has. I am so glad that my content is resonating with at least one person. What I want from anyone who reads this is for you to post a comment about your experience in networking. I want to get to know my audience better and start developing relationships with all of you. Perhaps, I can open up my network to some of you and help you reach your goals.

Once again,

Comment away and Happy Networking!

Do You Suck at Remembering Names?

February 7, 2012 2 comments

If you are terrible at remember names, you are not alone. There are millions of people who cannot remember names, even if you just told it to them. My best friend in the world is one of the worst at remembering names, but he was able to get over it. If you are bad at it, you NEED to get better if you want to be successful in life.

A name is a bridge to valuable relationships. At the very core of a great relationship is an understanding of who that person is. It is impossible to gain any depth with someone if you can’t remember the most basic thing about them. I stumbled upon this article which is a name analyzer, it’s pretty interesting, it discusses the power and meaning of a name. The article has a powerful statement in it;

“Let us consider what a name is. It is the grouping of several letters of an alphabet, or other symbols, which represent the identification of a person or an object.”

If you are forgetting someone’s name, you are costing yourself an immeasurable amount of loss.

Here is a video with 3 tips to help you remember names better;
